Contact Doug

Doug poses with the great Randall Bramblett at Full Moon Studio in Watksinville, where Randall laid down some sax and organ tracks for "Ghost Town," the new CD by Doug's daughter, Caroline. Doug is co-writer -- with Caroline and her producer, Fester Hagood -- of three songs on the CD: "See Rock City," "She Regrets Her Tattoos" and "Mystery Mourner." They've written several other songs together since then.

Doug's career as a singer began, and ended, with a performance with the Atlanta rock band "The Figs" at Callanwolde in Atlanta in the mid-1960s. When he lived in Nashville in 1972-73, Doug wrote a column about country music that was nationally distributed by United Press International.
